ISPO Roundup - Show, Art, Runway
Headed off to Munich for the gigantic ISPO trade fair, since we didn’t have enough trade shows so far. This is always a great chance to see what’s going on in the Europ market, as so many strong brands have yet to make it to the US market. The first thing to notice is the bright tones, then comes the fashion themes, then comes the fur and luxury elements (sometimes too much).
One of the things I enjoy is the elaborate runway shows the ISPO organizers put on. Some great dancers, worked out in full hour long choriographed routines (not like OR’s attempt this year - sad), and always very entertaining. This happens on two stages, different thems for each, with two different shows on each. The mountaineering one was a lot more fun, then the luxury ski show which had a little too much fur and bad 70’s style.

Spacejunk put on an art show, with artists on site doing what they do best. Artists involved and showing included Will Barras, Dave Bowers, Steve Caballero, Mathias Fennetaux, Andy Howell, Caia Koopman, Reg Mombassa, Nick Morris, Mr Jago, Andrew Pommier, Squindo, Nicolas Thomas, and Ozzy Wright.
