Fixed fun

After spending too much time checking out all the sweet fixed gear conversions going on, I had to dive in to see what all the fun was about.  Went all the way down to Denver, where I found a sweet 80’s Nishiki road bike, still in prime condition, to start it all off.  With the help of a local powder coating place, and ordering parts off ebay and from Kokopelli Bike shop in Cortez, CO, the conversion happened. Rainier Glacier fun

After flying by this mountain too many times to remember, and hearing the captain pointing it out every single time, it was time for a change.  This weekend a few of us headed up to Mount Rainier to get a little re-fresher on mountaineering skills, and what a weekend for it.  One of the hottest of the summer, hitting above 90 degrees o the glacier, which according to the guides, is pretty much unheard of.  Of course all the 3L outerwear I was (more…)

Quick Video on MEF designed elbow & knee pads

A little while back, we were working with one of the leaders in the paintball industries on expanding their offerings from just bags and packs, to apparel, accessories, pads, and diving deeper into bag design.  This was a quick video shot to go over some of the advances we were able to bring to the table, when asked to make a superior elbow and knee pad for the paintball player.
